John Thomas Hale

John Thomas Hale "Tom" passed away May 28 ^th due to complications of Pneumonia. Born June 17 ^th 1938 to Leah Brown Hale and Alvin Nathan Hale in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He married Sharon Lee Steed July 16 ^th 1965 in Ogden, Utah. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon; daughter, Amber (Guy) Stone; son, Tony (Jennifer) Hale; 11 grandkids, Maria, Zachary, Terren, Sheldon, Michael, Justin, Mariah, Dakota, Autumn, Josh, and Hunter; 2 sisters, Shannon Massay and Becky Parker; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Alvin; mother, Leah; and brother, Patrick.

His hobbies included fishing, camping, hunting, trap shooting and golf. He also enjoyed being with his friends and shooting the bull.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where friend and family may call Saturday 12 - 1:45 p.m.  Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W. 3500 S.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
