Our "Grandpa Joe" passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. You made it Grandpa,  you are back with Grandma just where you wanted to be.

Born to Mike A. Maez and Antonia Pacheco Maez in Saguache, CO. Married Connie B. Gallegos June 15, 1956 in Magna, UT., where they raised their family. Our Dad was actively involved in the Magna community for many years and the proud founder of Magna Youth in Action.

Survived by his four children, Connie Jo Taylor, Tina Montoya, John (Trudy) and Mike (Dana). Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother Billy and Sisters, Gertrude, Marcy and Dorothy.  Proceeded in death by his wife Connie, grandchildren Nathan and Sharon, daughter-in-law Karie Maez, sons in law Jamey Montoya and Ken Taylor,  parents, siblings Bernice, Nick, Linda, Rosie, Alice, Mabel and Mike.

Private visitation will be held Wednesday March 10, 2021.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W. 3500 S. The family requests if you are attending the graveside service that you please wear a mask.
