Julia Sutton Clegg

1921 - 2010

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Julia Elizabeth Sutton Clegg passed away April 30, 2010 in Murray, Utah.

She was born February 22, 1921 in Magna, Utah to Hershel Shepard and Julia E. Neuhausen Sutton.  She married Alfred Earl Clegg January 18, 1941 in Magna. Their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple; Earl died January 30, 2005.

Julia was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings including, Relief Society President and Young Women's President.  She enjoyed needlepoint, and always supported her grandchildren's activities.  She loved spending summers with her family at their cabin.  She was always willing to help anyone, and had a very sweet spirit.

She is survived by her sons, Earl, Richard, and Kevan (Karen); grandchildren, Lori (Darren) Hansen, Nicole (Michael) Thurman, Trent (Michelle) Clegg, Lindsey Clegg, Amy (Shelby) Hansen, and Shawn (Katie) Clegg; 9 great grandchildren; and brother, Blair Sutton.

Preceded in death by parents; husband; and brother, Phil Sutton.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, may 6, 2010 at the Hunter 23 ^rd Ward, 3665 S. 6000 W.  Friends and family may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, and Thursday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church.  Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
