Our loving mother, Katherine Thomas Mitchell Mecham passed away April 19, 2016 at the age of 91.  She was a lifelong resident of Magna, Utah and a faithful member of the LDS church touching the lives of many through her years of her faithful service.

She loved her family and was a great example of love and charity.  An amazing seamstress, she created many beautiful cross stitch pictures, croqueted and knitted and lovingly gave of herself at every opportunity.  She was loved by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by sons and daughters, Cheryl (John) Busenbark, Jim (Amy) Mitchell, Kelly (Belinda) Mitchell, Janet (Neil) Russell, and Lisa (Rick) Starr; step children, David (Claudia) Mecham, Rick Mecham, Douglas (Kaye) Mecham, and Kay (Jack) Eaton. Loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by husband, Victor Mitchell; husband, Garth Mecham; granddaughter, Kori Kennett; and great granddaughter, Justine Kennett.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Pleasant Green Chapel, 8739 W. 3000 S., where a viewing will be held Saturday 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment: Lehi City Cemetery. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
