Katrina (Forbush) Wiechert

1974-2017

Katrina Forbush Wiechert returned to the open arms of her Heavenly Father, surrounded by family and friends on June 22, 2017 following complications from an automobile accident. At the age of 43 Katrina was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece and friend.  She was born on January 2, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ronald D. Forbush and Phyllis (Hughes) Forbush.

Katrina was married to Albert Lee Wiechert on July 27, 2002 and was later sealed to him in the Salt Lake City Temple on July 27, 2009.

Katrina always had a smile on her face and loved a good joke.  Her laugh would light up a room.  She loved everyone and especially loved the beautiful mountains.  Recently she was able to travel with her husband as an over the road truck driver and she loved seeing the beautiful scenery with him by her side.

Katrina is survived by her husband Albert, her mother Phyllis Forbush, her daughter Sabrina Kay Chavez (Daniel), her brother Darr Lavon Forbush (Tracy) and her sister Madelaine Hill (Randy) and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Ronald D. Forbush and brother Ronald Pete Forbush.

The viewing and services will be held at Peel Funeral Home located at 8525 West 2700 South in Magna UT.  A viewing will take place on Tuesday, June 27 ^th from 6:00-8:00pm. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, June 28 ^th from 10:00-10:45am followed by the services at 11:00am.  Interment will take place following the service at Pleasant View Cemetery in Magna, UT.
