1945 - 2011

Our beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Kent Walton passed away April 20, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was born August 22, 1945 in Star Valley, WY to Everett and Laura Ann Walton.

Kent retired from Union Pacific Railroad.  He was a proud member of AA for 24 years.  He enjoyed playing pool, collecting small gadgets, and was a big fan of Coca Cola.  He loved and enjoyed his family very much.

Survived by his children, Erika (Earvin) Payne, Jeff (Tammy) Walton, Sadie (Troy) Martinez, and Maria (Kerry) Gilley; brothers and sister, Allen Walton, Ellen (Lou ) Moyes , and Darrel ( Jenice) Walton, Bud Rich; and many grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday, April 25, 2011 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where friends and family may call Monday, 11-12 prior to services.  Private interment.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com We would like to give special thanks to the trauma team at IHC and the nurses for all their efforts.
