Kimberly Elaine Hansen Elsbury passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 25, 2013.  She was born on April 20, 1946 in Richfield, UT to Ned and Maxine Hansen. She married the love of her life, Jack Elsbury in 1969. Together they raised 4 wonderful children. They shared more than 20 years of marriage before they divorced, but always remained close. She lived her life to the fullest in every way and never failed to bring a smile to everyone she ever met. She overcame more hardships and struggles than most could ever imagine, and she did it with grace and dignity. She will be most remembered for the generosity and unconditional love she showed everyone who ever crossed her path. She will be dearly missed by many. Kim is survived by her mother, Maxine Hansen; her four children, Julie Hubbard, Cindy Elsbury, Mikey (Scott) Boone, and JJ (Brianna) Elsbury; 3 sisters, MaryAnn Carter, LouAnn Steorts, Louise (Milt) Riddle; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and countless others. Preceded in death by her father, Ned Hansen; brother, Ned Hansen Jr., sister, Beth Gibson; and her grandson, Justin Boone.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., where the family will receive friends and family 10-11 a.m. prior to services. Private Interment. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
