In loving memory
of
Laura Tomita Lyons

On Easter morning, a brilliant, gifted, and loving daughter, sister, and auntie embarked upon her next adventure. Her time here was well spent creating extraordinary masterpieces of wooden furniture, whimsical artwork, and primarily, her colorful, award-winning quilts.
They can be found, not only warming her loved ones, but her legacy will be enjoyed by many at
such exhibits as the University of Utah Museum of Fine Arts, the Gene Autry Museum of Western Art (Los Angeles), This is The Place Monument Deseret Village, and in many publications and private collections throughout the U.S. She will be greatly missed, but her quilts, art, and gentle spirit will endure both in history and in the hearts of all she has touched.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3580 Swan Lake Circle, Magna, UT from 1-3pm,
Sat. April 14th. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the University of Utah Museum of Fine Arts, in her name. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
