LAVON DEA

MAGNA- Rejoice, Mother's prayers have been answered. God has called her home. Hannah LaVon Singleton Dea, was born March 10, 1915 to Eugene and Louise Robertson Singleton in Sunnyside, Utah. She died at her home in Magna, Utah on March 12, 2012. Married to Robert B. Dea in the Salt Lake Temple June 20, 1933, they spent 77 wonderful years together before his passing in August 2010.

Their marriage was blessed with four sons: Robert (Ida), Kay (Donna), Dennis (Kathy), Jay  (deceased);  13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 26 great great grandchildren. In addition, LaVon is survived by many nieces and nephews and a number of loved ones who adopted her to be a surrogate aunt or second mother.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Isabell Naylor, Delbert Kay, Myrtle Self, Melvin Singleton, George Singleton, Thelma Huish and Ruth Singleton.

Thank you  Jodi, Millie, Dr. Keval and Rocky Mountain Hospice for your loving care. At LaVon's request there will be no viewing or public funeral. Her family and adopted family will celebrate her life at a family gathering at 11 am, Saturday March 17, 2012 at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna.   In lieu of flowers mother suggests you treat a loved one to a special date night.
