LaVon Fisher

Magna –Our beloved Aunt,  LaVon Mary Fisher, passed away December  23, 2014 while having been surrounded by her family. She was born June 24, 1920 in Midvale, Utah to Michael and Teresa Rose Livsik Fisher.

LaVon retired from 1 ^st Security Bank as a teller. Her customers would wait in line for her to help them. She had a loving spirit that permeated into everyone she came in contact with.   LaVon was a devout Catholic and played the organ at Mass for over 50 years at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.   She was a God Mother to many including “Evelyn Miller”. She had a very giving and loving heart. LaVon was a wonderful aunt and each nephew and niece felt as if they were each her favorite.  LaVon will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her and loved her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy House of Taylorsville and the Aspire Hospice for all their loving care.

LaVon is survived by her  Nephews and Nieces;  Neil (Barbara) Fisher, Dolores (Dick) Vance- Korger, Evelyn Miller, Narve (Kathy) Dilley, Paul (Pam) Dilley, Ken (Sue) Dilley, Dennis Dilley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, Niece, Gladys (George) Merrill, K S Miller.

Mass of Christen Burial will be 11 am, December 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2864 S 9000 W, Magna. Visitation will be 10-10:45 am prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park  Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
