“Big Bird”

Leonard Devon May passed away June 22, 2015 while surrounded by his family. He was born October 24, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to James Devon and Winnifred  Cofell May.  Leonard married his sweet heart, Oval Lee Vallance April 21, 1984 in Tahonga, California.

Leonard loved to hike, fish and camp in the mountains. He spent many hours in his yard gardening.  Most of all he loved his family especially his grandchildren.  Leonard had an ability to fix just about anything.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Oval, children; Nelda (James) Mangum, Jennifer (William) May-Scott, Leonard Jr., 7 grandchildren; Britney, James, Hailey, Camile, Mathew, Isac, Mariah, mother, Winnifred, brother, Lindsay (Lois), sister, Connie (Paul) Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, James.

Memorial services will be held 1 pm Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Magna Ward, 3084 S 8400 W, Magna, Utah.  Family will receive friends from 12-12:45 pm prior to services. Private Interment
