Lloyd Westergard

In Memory of Lloyd Deon Westergard

Deon was born February 4, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the oldest of eight children. He married Joan L. Westergard and had five children they were later divorced. He later married Jolene G. Westergard April 5, 1982. He was preceded in death by son Martin, stepson Travis, and ex-wife Joan. He left this life September 30, 2012 quietly with a smile on his face. He is survived by wife Jolene, daughter Michelle, sons Michael, Clinton, and Richard. He is also survived by stepdaughters Valerie, Tara, Beckie and his son-in-laws Matt and Ted, family and friends. Deon was happiest when he was enjoying the outdoors. He was an active member of the Marines and received an honorable discharge. He worked as a welder all of his life and retired from Specialty Machine in 1996. He will be greatly missed. Per Lloyd's request he will be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
