Lois Coe Gillett

1918 - 2011

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Lois Coe Gillett passed away peacefully May 18, 2011 in her sleep at the age of 92.  Lois was born in Woodland, Utah to Glen and Mary Coe on November 28, 1918, but celebrated on November 30 th .  Lois married Jack Ray Gillett in June of 1937, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, they had 9 children.

Mom was deeply loved by all that knew her, especially her children and grandchildren.  Mom enjoyed life by traveling and camping, she served many callings in the LDS Church.  She was known for her quilts.

Lois is survived by children, JoAnne Leiser, Beverly (Van) Shields, Ray Jeanne) Gillett, Diane (Pat) Fivas, Patsy Adams, Clarina Gillett, and Dal Shields; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband, Jack; son, Paul; daughters, Susan, Linda, and KayeLynn; and son-in-law, Duke.

A special thanks to the angels at the Tooele Rocky Mountain Care Center and her daughter, Patsy.

Mom and grandma, thank you for always making our hearts smile.  We are going to miss you and love you forever.

Graveside services will be held 12 noon Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Alpine Cemetery, 300 E. 445 N.  Friends and family may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
