Lorrie Leavitt Woudenberg

Lorrie Woudenberg, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away at age 60 in her home on July 25th.  Lorrie was born on Sept. 9, 1958 in SLC, UT to Gaylene and Harlow Leavitt. She married the love of her life and best friend Douglas Mark Woudenberg on October 23rd, 1992. Together they united their families and raised 5 children.

Lorrie loved everyone and was always the life of the party. She had a wild soul and a contagious laugh. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She was always willing to give even when she had nothing. She was a fighter for what she believed and for those that she loved. Lorrie put herself through beauty school and lived her dream doing what she loved. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, going to the zoo and had a great love for dolphins.

She is survived by her husband (Doug) and 5 children, Amy (Rick) Stone, Justin (April) Woudenberg, Rachel Leavitt VerHoef, Tamra Hayda, Tiffany (Jason) Ferreira. Her Father Harlow (Dian) Leavitt, 19 grandkids, 5 great-grand kids, brothers Lee (Dixie) Leavitt, Troy Leavitt, Sister Verta Jorgenson, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She will be preceded in death by her Mother Gaylene Leavitt, grandparents, nephew and brother in law.

A memorial service will be held Thursday August 1, 2019 7PM at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna. Interment will be private.
