Luella Davis Shaw1926 ~ 2017Luella Davis Shaw, a beautiful daughter passed peacefully into the anxiously waiting arms of her Father in Heaven, her loving husband, and other family members on January 28, 2017. Luella was born the fourth of twelve children to Benjamin F. and Gladys Wilkins Davis on February 9, 1926. She married her high school sweetheart, LaMar Shaw in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and nine siblings. Luella is survived by her children, Marsha (Lanny) Herron, Christie (Scott) Jensen, Randy (Lisa), and Janelle (Kevin) Day; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and her two brothers, Russell and Lowell Davis. She was an accomplished seamstress, a talented artist and possessed a beautiful alto voice. Her love of the Lord was evidenced by her service as a Jordan River Temple Missionary and in numerous church callings.Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Spencer 6th Ward, 8181 West Breeze Drive, Magna, Utah. Viewings will be held Thursday, February 2nd at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna from 6-8pm and Friday 11-11:45 at the church. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park.
