Lynn Ray Smith

Lynn Ray Smith passed  away March 12, 2016 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born January 21, 1948 in Murray, Utah to Carvell and Donna Latham Smith. Lynn married the love of his life Gerrie Rogers July 14, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised their family in Taylorsville.

Lynn loved  travel , riding his Harley,  Yellowstone and Nascar.  He could fix anything, and would drop everything to help anyone. Lynn’s family were his whole life and he will be missed by each of them.

Lynn is survived by his wife, children; Brett, Brandee Tapp, Jonathan (Sharon), 6 grandchildren, 1 sister, 5 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday March 17, 2016 at the Bennion Heights Ward, 3555 W 5620 S, Taylorsville. Visitations will be at the church  6-8 pm Wednesday March 16,  and 10-10:45 am Thursday  prior to services. Interment: Holden Cemetery   Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
