Madeline Gini Overbey

1930 - 2010

MAGNA-Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Madeline Grace Gini Overbey passed away September 29, 2010.  She was born April 6, 1930 in Tinley Park, Illinois to Joseph Louis and Elizabeth Dini Gini.  She married Charles Robert Overbey June 27, 1953 in Blue Island, Illinois; he died October 10, 1995.

Madeline was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  She always enjoyed socializing with friends, neighbors, and family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Kim) Overbey and Joyce (Steve) Rasmussen; 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and brother, Louis Gini.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, and one brother.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S. 9000 W.  Friends and family may call Sunday 6-7:30 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., where a prayer service will be held Sunday at 7:30.
