Maria “Lola” Dolorita Vigil

1937 ~ 2015

Our beloved mother, nana, tia, Corazon, and amazing cook, Maria “Lola” Vigil passed away July 6, 2015. She was born May 5, 1937 in Llano, New Mexico to Demecio Vigil and Carolina Romero. She married Gilbert Villegas Delatore, and even though they divorced she always kept a place in her heart for him. She married Raul Torres, they later divorced. She is survived by her children, Gilbert (Jacque) Delatore Jr., Rocky Delatore, Suzan (Manny) Pino, Ronnie Delatore, Holly (Kirk) Burnett, and Rosita Torres; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and 6 brothers & 5 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Jr. & Emerson “Squeaky”.

Mom we know you are in Heaven dancing the Jig in your high heels. We love you mom, our Corazon. A special thanks to her caregivers, Summit Hospice’s Hector & Kim, The Lodge, Paramount, and to our niece and mom’s Corazon, Danielle Ulrich who helped us through all her medical needs. We love you, Dani.
