Mary Eloise Kelson Aldridge
Was born on November 11, 1935 and grew up in Magna.
She was very proud of the new Magna Museum and made many donations which included historical pictures that showed the life and vitality of growing up in Magna.
Mary was a avid life long crocheter winning many awards in the state fair, she loved to dance and would dance whenever she could, She was also a skilled cabinet maker and worked at Olympia Cabinets for over 15 years.
Mary traveled all over the US and all the way to Germany with the love of her life Franklin J Aldridge who retired from the Army and helped raise there 5 Rowdy kids that they hauled all over with them finally settling in Kearns.
Mary was an amazing cook her Sunday dinners were known all around the neighborhood, She would feed any visitor that came by and the house was always full of friends and family.
She was a lover of children and has 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney and June Kelson, her sister Betty Spangler, her Brothers Gene and Rodger Kelson, her husband Franklin Aldridge and two of her sons Samuel Aldridge and Robert Aldridge.
She will be Buried with Franklin in the Fort Douglass Cemetery on March 30th at 11:00am and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Victoria Woods Clubhouse, 3510 W Lancer (3650 S) Way, West Valley City on Friday at 6:00pm.
