1925 ~ 2018

Our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, Maxine Olsen Draper passed away November 3, 2018. She was born August 4, 1925 in Fountain Green, UT to Lawrence and Mabel Olsen.  She married Reed H Draper on December 26, 1944 in Salt Lake City later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple.

She was a loving wife,  mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed quilting, camping, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Survived by children, Dennis Draper, Kathy (Bob) Thomas, Gary (Sherry) Draper, JoAnn (Steve) Sandall; 16 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Jay Olsen. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Karen; great grandchild, Desi; 2 sisters and 1 brother.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Brighton Home Health and Hospice and the Beehive Home of Herriman for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 west 2700 south, Magna where friends may call Friday 6-8 pm and Saturday 10-10:45 am.  Interment will be 2:30 pm at the Moroni City Cemetery. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
