Maybell Duke Miner

Maybell Duke Miner, died June 5, 2011 at age 91.  She was born May 1, 1921 to Jonathan Murdoch (Dick) Duke and Christina Kennedy Lindsay.  She was the youngest of six children.   She married Merrill LaVar Miner who preceded her in death.  They had two children, Suzanne (Hugh) Hales and Merrill Edward Miner who also preceded her in death.  Maybell had three grandchildren: Holly Ann (Darrell) Dickson, Hugh Michael (Lainie) Hales, and Mathew Edward (Cathy) Hales, and ten great-grandchildren.  She worked for Hercules Powder Company for 20 years and was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Funeral Services will be held at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna Utah at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012.  A viewing will be held at the Peel Funeral Home 7:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2012.  Friends may also visit with the family at 10:00 a.m., prior to the funeral services.
