MYRENE YVONNE LITTLEFIELD MANDELES

"Together Again"

Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother passed away April 8, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born September 11, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lester and Mae Littlefield.  She peacefully passed away after a battle with cancer.  Myrene is survived by her brother, Arthur Littlefield (Georgiana), daughter, Suzanne Weber (Dave), step-daughter, Cherilyn Angell (John, deceased), sons, Mickey Lessley (Wendy), Charlie Marshall (Polly), JD Lesley (Cindy) and Jim Mandeles (Karen), 29 grandchildren, and 13 great-grand children. Proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Mandeles, brother, Elwood Littlefield, and step-daughter Judy Johnson. Myrene was born and raised in Salt Lake City. She married Russ Mandeles in 1954. Myrene joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1960.  She was sealed to her husband and family in 1971. In their retirement, Russ and Myrene spent summers in Salt Lake City, UT and winters in Mesa, AZ.  She moved to Henderson, NV in June 2010 to be near her son.  Graveside services will be held 11am, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
