Our loving mother, nana, grandmother, sister and friend, Merry Lee Walker passed away surrounded by her family July 10, 2023.
Lee was the youngest of seven, she was born April 13, 1945 to her parents, Leland and Berta Wilson in Richfield, Utah. Lee married Guy Miller and had 2 daughters, Shauna and Corinna later divorced and married the love of her life, George Walker November 26, 1976.
Together they had a wonderful life and enjoyed traveling with a motorhome club. After George’s passing, Mom was more of a homebody, she loved to paint ceramics, crochet Afghans & baby blankets; she rarely liked to go anywhere but she never turned down an opportunity to go to Delton Lanes for some Chicken fingers. (If Mark was cooking!). Lee loved her children and grandchildren; they were the light of her life. She always had a table full of candy and a refrigerator full of soda and made sure all the grandchildrens favorites were there. Lee worked for Delton Bowling lanes for 42 years as a waitress, this wasn’t just a job they became family and her second home. She was known for her sassy, spunky personality and she was always ready to give anyone a hard time. Lee was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her two daughters, Shauna (Jay) Carlton, Corinna (Troy) Belliston; stepson, Darrell Walker; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Duane Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; grandson, Jayson; 2 sisters, 3 brothers and 2 stepsons.
