Michael Roy Fredrickson

January 14, 1983 to April 13, 2019

Michael Roy Fredrickson was brought into this world on January 14, 1983 in West Valley Utah to his parents Gary and Lori Fredrickson. Michael grew up in Kearns with his older sister Crystal, and two younger brothers Daniel and Lyle. From a young age Michael was very mechanically gifted. He could fix anything that was broke, and always had a need to see how he could make things perform better and faster. Michael loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He spent a lot of time in the mountains or pushing the limits at the Sand Dunes.

Michael met the love of his life Jillian during high school. Michael and Jill later had two boys Gage, and Gunner. Gage and Gunner were his whole world. He helped teach them his love and passions for the outdoors as well as sports. Michael even coached their little league football team, teaching his boys the respect and love for the game.

Michael had a huge heart. Anyone who came into Mike’s life could feel his strength and love. He always did whatever it took to help someone, no matter where or how long it took.

You could always see a special grin on Michaels’ face if he was ever behind the wheel of his WRX, or the handlebars of a four-wheeler. He had a gift in knowing how to handle anything with wheels. He knew just how to push the limits of speed and grip on any roadway. Even during a horrible ATV crash (8 years ago) at the Sand Dunes with his friends, he was able to maneuver his four-wheeler in a manner that we all believed saved his friends life. Michael suffered numerous injuries from this incident but fought and battled his way through the recovery road. Michael never gave up, and all though his body was in pain, he pushed through every day to be a father to his boys.

Michael’s strength and beautiful love that he had will always show in his boys Gage and Gunner. Michael will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We will always remember the great times we had and cherish the lasting memories we built together.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Michaels’ honor on Monday April 22, 2019 from 6-9 PM at the Webster Center, 8592 West Magna Main Street, Magna UT 84044.
