Our beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend, Michael Lawrence Sullivan passed away on March 27, 2011 in West Valley City surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born March 2, 1931 to James F. and Belva P. Sullivan in Salt lake City, Utah.  He served his country in the Korean War.  His joy in life was spending time with family and friends, fishing, golfing, and trapshooting.  He was an accomplished mechanic and cabinet maker.  Mike had many great qualities, one of which was his great sense of humor.  He was always quick with a joke to put a smile on anyone's face.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janice Wolstenholme Sullivan; children, Michael (Susan), Terry (Ken) Hampton, and Christopher (Cindy); 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 2 special sisters-in-law, Arva and Rae.

Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S. 9000 W., where friends and family may call Wednesday 10-11 a.m. prior to Mass.  Committal: Valley View Memorial Park.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
