MIGUEL EDUARDO MAEZ Sr.

Miguel returned to his Heavenly Father, October 10, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 8, 1939 in Sheuache, Colorado to Mike Antonio and Antonia Pacheco Maez. He married Cordie Mae Reed then later divorced, then married Donna J. Watson.

He served in the US Navy for 11 years and traveled around the world numerous times. He was a cement mason and a member of the Brick Layers and Cement Mason Union. He loved fishing, camping, and going hunting. Miguel had a sense of humor and touched many lives. He especially love his home in Fruitland and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, children, Terrie (Steve) Sanchez, Miguel (Geraldine) Maez, Judy Ann Maez, Burt James Maez, Mike Antonio Maez II, Bili Jo (Vincent) Maez, Bernadette (Nathaniel) Maez, Johnny Maez Jr., brothers, Joe (Connie) Maez, Billy (Emma) Maez, sisters, Gertrude Manzanares, Linda (Lloyd) Torres, Marcie Brown, Dorothy (Dennis) Velasquez, 24 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many other family.

Preceded  in death by his parents, 2 sons, 4 sisters, 1 brother, grandsons, Robert Maez, Felix Sanchez.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday, October 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2840 S. 9000 W., Magna.
