Jeanne Watterson

1925 ~ 2014

Norma Jeanne Goodfellow Watterson, our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away sweetly on the morning of January 17, 2014. Jeanne was born October 23, 1925 to Clyde and Grace Mae Firman Goodfellow in Salt Lake City. She loved her childhood in Garfield where she met her sweetheart, Joe B. Watterson. They were married May 14, 1945, sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Seven children were born to this union and raised in a home full of love and laughter. She loved her savior, Jesus Christ, and served actively in church callings, including a Stake Mission in the Magna Stake. Our mom was honest, kind, generous, and gave unconditional love to all. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 2 great grandsons. She is survived by her children, Vicki (Wayne) Hays, Georgia (Vern) Anderson, Cindy (Ron) Torrez, Kip (Linda) Watterson, Debbie (Dave) Wilson, and Kelly (Steve) Street. She leaves 27 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, and all will miss her.
