Paris L Davis, 41, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Paris was born on January 29, 1984, in Vernal, Utah, to Gwendolyn Lee Davis and Kaster Durran Davis, Sr.
Paris never married, nor did Paris have any children. He dedicated his life to the Lord at an early age, attending. Calvary Baptist Church, under the direction of Rev. France Davis. He sang in the choir with his siblings Kaster Davis, Jr. and sister Shakeyla Davis. Later in life, he attended New Pilgrim Baptist Church, under the direction of Rev. Glass.
Paris lived a life of fulfillment. He loved all sports. He played several sports as a child and young man. He gained so many friends. He played soccer and was good at it. He played basketball and football and was good at it. He also played baseball. He played sports every year until his senior year, when he played football only. He loved watching sports on TV with his big brother Kaster, (aka DJ). His favorite basketball teams were the Utah Jazz, the Lakers, and the Warriors, and his favorite football team was the 49ers. He loved going to his nephew Jakai's football games.
Throughout his life, Paris worked at Salt Lake Community College in the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) program. He worked for Sears Department Store and at Wal-Mart, and his favorite job was as a cashier at TJ Maxx. His first car was a Ford Escort. His family and friends loved him because of his honesty, integrity, compassionate spirit, and zest for life. When you meet Paris, you meet a true friend. He loved cats because he said they were clean animals. He was so loving and kind and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. His favorite things were eating and shopping with his older sister, Shakeyla Davis. He loved attending our family gatherings and eating his sister Lakeysha’s food. His favorite was when he and his father would go out to eat, also, when they played the flute. Two quiet men enjoying time together. He loved calling his mother Gwendolyn to say I love you.
