Paul William Sutton passed away on August 13, 2018 at his home in Magna, Utah. He was born on October 30, 1946 at the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City to his parents Fay Rosklyn Sutton and Dorothy Grace Lyman Sutton. After high school Paul went to work for Kennecott Copper. From there he joined the Navy and served as a Fireman aboard the U.S. Hancock aircraft carrier. After several years of touring Asia and the Pacific Paul returned to work for Kennecott. Paul retired from Kennecott several years ago to pursue his passion for sculpture, wood carving and art. He created some very interesting works. He married Kay Weidner. Paul is survived by his daughter, Liza (Norm) Smith, 4 grandsons; Joshua age 16, Joel age 14, Zachary age 12 and Reuben age 10. Paul is also survived by his daughter, Kimberly, brothers; Daniel Ralph Sutton, Steven Lyman Sutton, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Sierra Bushman and parents.
Graveside services will be held 10 am Monday August 27, 2018 at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
