Our wonderful sister, aunt, and friend Pearl Dalene Prisby passed away peacefully in Riverton City Utah, in the loving arms of Ranuta Alder a great niece. On Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the age of 82. With a great reunion on the other side with her family and friends she loved.
Pearl was born July 13, 1935 in Joseph Utah, to the parents of William Brice Prisby and Martha Emelia Ronnow. Pearl was the fifth child of 7 children; Marie Hunter, Lawrence, Anna Hansen, Cleone Rogacki, Ronnow and Karma Farnsworth. She loved and adored her siblings.
Pearl had high goals and dreams and had great faith to endure so many hard things here on this earth. She accomplished so many great things.
For example She was voted in as the yearbook staff editor in high school. She graduated from South Sevier High School in Monroe Utah in 1953.
She attended Utah State University and she graduated from the University of Utah with a degree of Bachelor of Arts major in English, finding that experience of attending college was both challenging and stimulating. Pearl earned a High School Teachers certificate, and Served a Stake mission in Oakland, California. Pearl traveled to England and toured Europe for three months visiting ancient cities and her favorite was visiting Greece. She loved the arts.
Pearl worked as a middle school and highschool teacher in California, correspondent for Blue Cross of Utah, A Technical Writer for Anchor Valve Company in California,and an Escrow Officer administrator.
Pearls hobbies and interests were reading, writing, attending the temple, visiting with friends sharing history stories and sending out letters and cards to family and friends.
Pearl is survived by her sister Cleone Rogacki, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
We would like to Thank the staff at the Brighton House, Assisted living Center for the loving care they gave to Pearl.
While she will be missed, we celebrate her wonderful life and take comfort knowing she is having a marvelous reunion with her family and friends. A memorial will be on Thursday. January 18, at 2:00 p.m. Services will be held at Riverton Stake Center 12154 South 3600 West Riverton Utah. Interment services will be held in Joseph Utah at a later date.
