Perry Mark Whitehair

Perry Mark Whitehair, 68, of Magna, passed away on August 22, 2023 after a battle with cancer and kidney failure.

Perry was born to Perry Elsworth and Marlen (Broutout) Whitehair in Sewickley, PA. A graduate of Horseheads High School (Horseheads, NY.) in 1973, he then went on to study Theater at Allegheny Community College and Journalism at Lindenwood Colleges/University in St. Charles Missouri, where he met the love of his life, Cindy.

Perry was predeceased by his parents, Perry Elsworth and Marlen, step father John Macon, and mother in law Nancy (Morris) Martines. He is survived by his wife Cindy, son Perry Stephen (Camille), grandson Perry Isaac, sister Karen (Dean) Swartwood, brothers Eric and Chris, nieces Amanda (Michael) Kelsey, Kristina (Adam) Brown, Katherine Swartwood, father in law Stephen Martines, step mother in law Denise Lindley, sister in law Julie (Martines) Graham, brother in law Clayton, step sisters April (Craig) Geis and Angel (Chris) Adkins and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The visitation and celebration of life will be held at Lifeline Community Church, 4431 W. Lifeline Lane in West Jordan on Saturday August 26, 2023 from 3 to 5 PM and an open house for friends and family will be held at the home from 6 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the family’s second home, the Empress Theatre in Magna.
