1944 - 2014

Our beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Peter Michael Rainaldi passed away July 28, 2014 in Magna, UT after battling numerous serious illnesses for many years. He was born in Salt Lake City to Peter and Carmela Chiocchia Rainaldi. Pete was a long time Magna resident and served as a volunteer fireman in Magna for many years. He loved the community garden and volunteering at the Magna Museum. He will be dearly missed as a Magna fixture with his friendly and cheerful greetings as he rode the streets of Magna in his electric chair. He is survived by his brothers, Joe (Joyce) and Tony Rainaldi; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Angelo; sister, Lorraine Pannunzio; and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S. 9000 W. A viewing will be held Thursday 6-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S. Committal: Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Building Fund in Pete's name.
