Raphael Kwame Amedzor Dzacka passed away at the age of 50 in his home on September 26 th 2012, surrounded by his loved ones.He was born on September 8, 1962 in Accra, Ghana to Emmanuel Kofi Dzacka and Victoria Ama Dzacka.
Raphael spent most of his life in Accra, Ghana where he had his education and worked as an entrepreneur till 2004 when he re-united with his wife and daughter in the US.
Raphael was a very hardworking man who has always been the rock behind his family, both immediate and extended. Raphael was the second of the twelve children born to his parents; six boys and six girls. Raphael was highly responsible, and acted very well in supporting his extended family before and after the death of his father. He was a very caring brother, father, husband and a friend to many.
He was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was very passionate about his faith... ... He served as Sunday school president, Elders Quorum president, Young men's president, Executive secretary and first counselor in the bishopric.
Raphael was survived by his wife, Celestine Martha Dzacka and daughter, Stephanie Nana Esi Dzacka. He also left behind ten (10) other siblings both in Ghana and in the US. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Kojo Dzacka. Raphael will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
Funeral services will be held 11am, Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Pleasant Green 4 th Ward, 3610 South 8400 West, Magna, Utah. Visitations will be 6-8pm, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Church and 10-10:45am prior to services on Friday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Peel Funeral Home.
