Remma Draper Johnson

1932 - 2011

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Remma Josephine Draper Johnson passed away December 10, 2011 in West Valley City, Utah.  She was born February 10, 1932 the seventh of eight children to Carson Owen and Ann Artell Draper.

Remma grew up and attended school in Provo, Utah.  She also attended Beauty School in Salt Lake City and became a licensed cosmetology instructor.

She married Douglas Johnson in 1965; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.  She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, and had great love for her family and friends.

Survived by her husband; daughter, Andrea (Mark) Petty; 3 grandchildren, Karli Petty, Raquel Petty, and Stephanie (Matt) Evans; and one great grandson, Roper Isaac Evans.

Preceded in death by parents; son, Forrest Tracy Johnson; and all her siblings.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., where friends and family may call both Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10-10:4 a.m. prior to services.  Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
