Richard Pierce

Richard Wesley Pierce, age 51, died in Salt Lake City on May 12, 2015 surrounded by those who loved him.  Born July 13, 1963 in Salt Lake City to Myron and Connie Johnson Pierce. Richard grew up with two brothers and sisters. He married the love of his life, Aparecida, Torres De Oliveira and they were sealed in the Manti, Utah Temple.

Together Richard and Aparecida raised their children Jacob and Sarah.

Richard was a member of the LDS Church and served a two year mission in Curitiba, Brazil and touched many lives.  He worked as a dedicated ironworker for almost 30 years.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday May 18, 2015 at the Brookhaven Ward 4980 West 3285 South in West Valley City. Visitations will be 6-8 pm Sunday May 17, 2015 at the church and 10-10:45 am Monday prior to services.  Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.  Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
