Robert Norman Anger of Magna, Utah born September 5th, 1942 in Detroit, MI. Died on November 6th, 2019 in Killarney Ireland; aged 77 years.
Upon graduation from Highschool, he joined the US Marine Corp where he served our nation for four faithful years. He was a dedicated and true Marine through and through. Semper Fi! Upon honorable discharge, he followed his family to Salt Lake City Utah where he served as a youth pastor at Kearns Baptist Church. During this portion of his ministry he met the love of his life, Diane Stephens. They were happily married for 51 years, the best part of which was having 2 wonderful daughters. Well, one is wonderful, you decide which daughter wrote this! Bob and family moved to Magna Utah and served as pastor since 1980 and has been a great influence in the community and touched many lives. Bob and Diane had the great privilege of spending their last days together on an anniversary trip of a lifetime to Ireland.
Preceded in death by his Father, Robert G. Anger, his Mother Arie Y. Anger, and his Sister Donna J. Anger. Survived by his Wife, Diane S. Anger, daughters: Randi L. Hillaker (John) and Katie L. Vinecke (Joshua); Siblings: Cherie Cole, Joy Burger, and Mark Anger (Lori); Grand Children: Mykael Anne Vinecke, Elora Danan Vinecke, Noah Robert Hillaker, Alijah Wayne Vinecke, Matthew James Hillaker, Isabelle Grace Vinecke, Samuel Zane Vinecke.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday November 22nd, 2019 at Midvalley Bible Church. 13985 South 2700 West Bluffdale, UT 11:00 AM – 12:30 pm. Graveside service at Utah Veteran’s Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 South 1700 West Bluffdale, UT 1:00. All are invited to a luncheon with the family immediately following the graveside service at Midvalley Bible Church.
