Robert Allen Damewood

1956 ~ 2013

Robert Allen Damewood passed away on February 13, 2013 at age 56 in his home in West Valley City, Utah, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  He was born Sept 18, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lawrence Leo Damewood, Sr. and Freda Mae Parish.  He met his eternal sweetheart, Ramona Fish, at the University of Utah in the fall of 1977. He served an LDS mission in Argentina Buenos Aires South in 1977-79. Allen and Ramona were married in April 1980, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He is survived by: step-mother Ladene; wife Ramona; children Amy (Andrew), Robbie, Melissa, and Laura; grandchildren James, Mathew, and Luke; siblings Larry, Patti, Joe, and Josh.

Funeral services will be 11 am, Monday February 18, 2013 at the Valley View Ward, 5180 W 4700 S, West Valley City. Visitations will be 6-8 pm Sunday and 10-10:45 am Monday at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park

In lieu of flowers, the Robert Allen Damewood Memorial Fund has been set up at America First Credit Union to help with expenses.
