Robin Ackerman

Robin Ackerman, loving mother of her three children was born on May 14, 1959 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Mom was taken too soon on October 24, 2022 at the Age of 63. She was a fighter, but was overcome by
a long standing illness at the University of Utah Hospital on Monday. She was always strong, not only for
herself but for her family and friends as well. She leaves her loving legacy to her children Christopher
Dudley, Ryan Dudley and Becki Fisher.

Robin was the fifth child of Frank and Connie Ackerman. The family eventually grew with the addition of
another sister and later two more brothers from Frank’s second marriage to Gloria Ackerman. She loved
her four brothers three Sisters very much! Family time was always a premium and she loved spending
time with her siblings.

Mom was the sole provider for her family of three and did her best to make sure we were loved and
cared for. Her children were her treasure and she loved us more than anything, always putting our needs
above her own. Things were not always easy, but she made the best out of every situation. Not only was
she a great mom but a great grandma. Mom loved her grandkids so much. She will be the light and
courage in their hearts forever.

Mom graduated high school and completed 5 years of college. She was dedicated to schooling, always
exceling at what she was learning. Mom was always crafty, she loved to do things with her hands. She
worked with clay and loved making jewelry and beading until the onset of arthritis forced her to cut back
on those activities. Mom always cared about everyone around her, and you could feel how genuine she
was. She had the best smile and could always make you laugh. That was her superpower.

Mom struggled with illness in recent years but showed her strength by battling each episode with
everything she had. She had a great laugh and always used humor to help get through the times when
things were almost unbearable. She never would let things get her down and was a shining example of
enduring to the end. No one could argue that fact.

Robin leaves her memory and love to her siblings and their families; Janett and Jared Call, Joan and Reed
Findlay, Bryan and Lluvia Ackerman and Boyd and Michelle Ackerman. She is having a wonderful reunion
with her sister Shelley and brother Royce who along with her parents Frank, Connie and Gloria prepared
the way for her in Heaven.

Robin, to everyone you touched in this life and left with a smile, you will be sorely missed!
