Rodney Kent Miller, age 71 passed away on June 6, 2018 in Midvale, Utah. He was born on June 17, 1946 to William Riley Miller and Audrey Barkhausen Miller. Rod is survived by his son, William Riley, daughter, Carri Marie Miller, sister, Terri (John) Howe, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rod loved everything about life weather it was football, baseball, fishing or even quality time with his family. His passion was playing football at a youthful age. Rod received a scholarship to college. After college he joined the Air Force. While in the Air Force he was an air traffic controller. After 3 years of service he was honorably discharged from the Air Force.

You will truly be missed by all, your laughter was contagious and always had a giving heart. Life without you will not be the same. We love you Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Friend.

Graveside services will be 1 pm Monday June 18, 2018 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale. There will be a celebration of life after the graveside services. Please contact the family for more information.
