ROLAND DUBBELMAN

ROLAND DUBBELMAN, passed away January 29, 2012 at the VA Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 29, 1947 to Huibert and Johanna Post Dubbelman in Rotterdam, Holland. Roland married Rosemarie Hope in Salt Lake City, February 2, 1970.

Roland served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He loved camping and the outdoors. Roland was a generous man both in spirit and monetarily. He would help his friends and family if they needed his help. His greatest love was his family and his grandson Izac.

Roland is survived by his wife, Rosie,  sons, Roland, Chris, Scott (Amber) Dubbelman, grandson, Izac, sister, Anna Vandermeide, brothers, Peter (Ruth), William (Peggy) Dubbelman and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Huibert.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, February 3, 2012 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna. Visitation will be 11-11:45 am prior to services. Interment: Redwood Memorial. Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
