Rose Marie Mitchell

November 29, 1937- March 11, 2018

Loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Aunt, Rose Marie Mitchell passed away on March 11, 2018 surrounded by her children. She was born the youngest of 7 children to Edgar and Myrtle Sorensen in Emery Utah on November 29, 1937. She moved to Salt Lake City where she met and married Carl Albert Mitchell on December 11, 1961, along with Carl’s 3 children they had an additional 3, Kenneth Mitchell (Lisa) Dennis Mitchell, Jill Mitchell, Jim Mitchell (Jenny), Karen Ariano (Kenny) and Sharon Mitchell (Wendy). She has 18 Grand Children and 29 Great Grand Children, and 2 Great Great Grand Children.

Rose spent 35 years of her life caring for others in the nursing field.  She took immense pride in being a wife, a mother and grandmother. She had a genuine love for everyone she met, and everyone who met her walked away feeling like they where the most important person. She loved gardening canning and taking care of her puppies. She had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.

She has gone home to be with her mother and father, her brothers and sisters, and her loving husband, she will be deeply missed by her sister Naomi and all the ones left behind.
