Rosemary Terry Whitfield

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rosemary Terry Whitfield (Rosie) West Jordan, Utah, who passed away at the age of 73, on January 29, 2023.  She was born March 11, 1949 in Cedar City, Utah.

She was predeceased by her father, Orvin Dee Terry; her mother, Lynn Terry Turnbow and step-father, Glendon Turnbow; her brother, Ervin Kary Terry; her daughters, Tammy and Mary; and her son-in-law, Mike Burkhart.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, David Whitfield; her children, Tracey Burkhart; her sons, JT Miller and Jerry Miller; step-son Jesse Whitfield; and her grandchildren & great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother, Roger Gary Terry (Cheryl Hirschi Terry); sister, Vicki Lynn Stewart (Don Stewart); sister, Dee Terry; her brother, Chad Turnbow; and extended family of many nieces and nephews.

Rosemary lived in Enterprise Utah, Ivins (St. George) Utah, and in and around Salt Lake County.  She loved to travel and loved to go to Wendover, with her husband David, to see if they could win their fortunes. In her younger years she had a hair-dresser business, and a home cleaning business.  She loves to collect Southwestern art and home furnishing.  She remembered everyone on their birthday and Christmas, and if needed, would give you the shirt off her back.   She loves to attend family luncheon’s and get together restaurant dinners.  She loved her children, grandchildren, and extended family, and would make phone calls to check up on everyone.

We all will Miss You Rosemary.

Interment and graveside service will be held this summer on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South in Salt Lake City, Utah 84117.
