Ross Milton Cook

Born June 27, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, Ross Milton Cook, 72, died August 17,2023 of Alzheimer disease.  His parents were Beth Stephens Cook Woodbury and Everett Milton Cook.  He was fortunate to have a loving stepfather, Donald Woodbury.  Ross grew up in Roy, Utah, attending Roy High School.

Ross grew up in rural Roy, Utah.  He loved animals, especially horses.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Ross had been a professional jockey and horse trainer at one time.  He was a good mechanic but most of all…Ross was an artist, working in leather and metals.  He had a gift.

He is survived by his loving and loyal wife, Jocelyn Preattle; his son, Corbin Cook; stepsons, Erik Knutson (deceased), Kevin and Seiko Knutson and grandson, Finn Knutson.

Also missing him are surviving sisters, Judy (Fred) Coy, Kristine Prichett, Sandra Burborough, LuDawna (Will) Ramage; brother Layne (Lani) Cook.

As per Ross’s wishes there will be no formal service at this time.
