Russell J. Kelson

Our loving husband, father, grandfather Russell J. Kelson passed away January 13, 2014 while surrounded by his family. He was born July 13, 1932 in Magna, Utah to Darrell James and Margaret Abiah Bird Kelson. Russell married the love of his life Marian B. Henline in the Salt Lake Temple June 28, 1954.

Russell lettered in football and track for Cyprus High School all 4 years while he attended. He served in the U.S. Army Honor Guard, stationed in Germany. Russell loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed photography. Most of all he loved his family and they loved him.

Survived by his wife, children; Linda (Ed) Larsen, Rex (Marci) Kelson, Connie (Boyd) Bickmore, Kaye (Drew) Page, Keith (Kathie) Kelson, 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, brother, Darrell (Joyce) Kelson, sister, Mardee Redmond. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon  Friday January 17, 2014 at the Spencer 6 ^th Ward, 8181 W 3320 S, Magna Utah. Visitations will be Thursday 5-7 pm and Friday 11- 11:45 am both at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
