Russell Lynn Nash

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Russell Lynn Nash, 67, died August 13, 2022 at home.

He was born September 6, 1954, Salt Lake City, Utah, to Duane J. and Venna Blood Nash. He married the love of his life, Sherrie Ann Goff Nash on July 15, 2002, spending years before and after, creating a life they loved and were proud to have built and shared together.

He served in the Unites States Navy in the 1970's where he was stationed in Seattle, Washington and spent some time on a re-supply ship off the coast of Sasabo, Japan.

He retired from Rio Tinto from the refinery after 32 years.   

Russell is preceded in death by his wife, Sherrie Ann Goff Nash; parents, Duane J. and Venna Blood Nash; sister, Vickie Nash Sorenson (Randy); father-in-law, Lyle Goff; and his granddaughter, Bradee Lynn Nash.

Survived by his brother, Adren Duane “Dee” Nash (Connie); children, Valerie Taylor (Russ), Richard Nash, Victoria Conder (Jerry), and Jeff Goff; along with 13 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was a family man that enjoyed watching football (Seattle Seahawks), basketball, boxing, and drag racing. He was known for his personality, constantly telling jokes to make the people around him laugh.
