RUTH HABBESHAW WHITE

Ruth Habbeshaw White,  94, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 28, 2012 incident to age. She was born January 9, 1918, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alfred and Jane Mitchell Habbeshaw.

She grew up in the Forest Dale area of Salt Lake City, surrounded by her six siblings and many cherished friends. She Married Dale Eldredge White in the Salt Lake Temple on November 19, 1937. They built a beautiful home in the Millcreek area where they raised their four children. Their home became a haven for the posterity for many years to come. Ruth's greatest joy came from serving her family. She loved sharing her cooking skills and was a wonderful seamstress. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and enjoyed serving in the Primary for many years.

She will be greatly missed by: her children; Ruth Janeen (Robert)  Forsyth, Dennis Dale (Sherry) White, Charlotte Jane Copinga, and Debra Ann (Blair) Sampson; 23 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; sisters, Ramona May and Rea Miller, brother, Robert Habbeshaw; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers; Russell, Richard, Ronald Habbeshaw; son-in-law, Hyo Copinga.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday October 3, 2012 at the Kenwood Ward, 3080 South 1765 East, Salt Lake City. Visitations will be at the ward 6-8 pm, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 and 11 - 11:45 am Wednesday prior to services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn  Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com

The family wishes to thank Bob and Janeen Forsyth for sharing their home with Mom for the past few months as our loving caregivers, Valerie and Amelia, from Rocky Mountain Hospice.
