Sandra Kinsey

Sandra “Sandy” Martin Kinsey - her beautiful, generous and loving soul left this earth on March 28, 2018. Moms life adventure began on July 26, 1947. The first daughter born to Glen W. Martin and Janice Ridd Martin. She was an exceptional mother to three children and a phenomenal grandmother to four grandkids and six great grandkids. She loved reading to, teaching, and teasing her grandkids to no end. She was affectionately known by many different names such as Mama, Sam, Aunt Sam, Ma Sammy and her most recent, Ama from her newest great grandson, who also loves her favorite color orange. No matter the name used she had an uncanny way of making everyone feel loved! Mom always looked forward to celebrating holidays, especially Christmas. She was the master of making the day special and magical with her yummy sugar cookies, perfectly picked gifts and of course her favorite singer Johnny Mathis singing throughout the well decorated house. She couldn’t wait for Thanksgiving to be over so the tree could go up, but soon came Valentines Day and we had to beg her to take it down. She loved gardening and was filled with pride over all her beautiful flowers. Sandy had a true love for life and always found the good in everything. Her huge smile, positive attitude and wonderful sense of humor were always contagious. Mom was definitely one of a kind, unforgettable, a unique and special lady that will be greatly and forever missed.

Mourning her lose and left to cherish her memory are her children Darin and Misty; grandchildren Isaac (Leslie and kids), Paris, Nigel (Shea and Benson) and Jagar; sisters Robyn (Larry), Cindy (Lawry); nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

She has been reunited with her son Brett, sister Julie, Parents and Grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held 10 am - 12 pm Saturday April 14, 2018 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W 2700 S, Magna, Utah.
