Sandra Dianne Johnson

1960 ~ 2021

Sandy was a great wife, a great mother, and a great cook. Her life was not easy, but she never gave up even when she was diagnosed with cancer and fought for five brave years only to die on the night of November 12, 2021. As a mother she made sure her two sons Zach and Josh turned out to be very wonderful people whom she cared for very deeply. She also cared for her husband of 35 years, and always thought of him first being by his side and enjoying the times they had together in their journey through life hand in hand. She is leaving five very special grand children whom she was fortunate enough to be able to stop working and devote her time to spending their formative years taking care of them on extended stays with their grandma. Even when they entered school, she always made sure to have one, two, or even three of her grandkids stay for the weekend and during school breaks or even the entire summer break. She always made sure to celebrate the holidays cooking wonderful big dinners for her family and enjoyed making candy for her kids and grandkids and always made sure that these days were special for them. She will be missed by many of her friends and family.

Sandy, as your husband, I always thought we would grow old together and always dreamed of our golden years being together content in the life we lived, the joys we had, and the special relationship we always had, sadly that was not meant to be. You always had my back, and always believed in me, even in my darkest times. I wish I could have done more for you as you battled this cancer for the five long years. I will miss you so much as you are my light and it will be hard for me to go on without your love. I thank you for what you gave to me in being a part of your presence, giving me your heart. I will always love and cherish you so much.
