SCOTT LEWIS CHRISTENSEN

1963 ~ 2017

Scott Lewis Christensen born on May 4 ^th 1963. Devoted son, father, grandfather and friend. Passed away April 6, 2017. 6 Alpha Lima 2 hung up his badge after 28 years with the Department of Corrections and picked up his golf clubs, for endless fairways, greens and the “occasional” shank ;).  He was a dedicated member of the Magna Copper Golf Club where he spent many nights on the deck with his golf family talking about the missed putts and buying rounds for all. He was a longstanding member of The Knights of Columbus, associated with Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna.

Scott is survived by his mother, Joyce Lewis Christensen; daughter, Olivia-Anne Yuill (Marcus); grandson, Xander Yuill; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, family in blue and his extended family at the Copper Golf Club. Proceeded in death by father, Merrill John Christensen; grandparents, Cap and Mary Lewis; uncle, Tony Lewis; cousin, Justin Jones.

A viewing will be held Tuesday April, 11 ^th 6-8:30pm with a rosary following at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S. 9000 W, where a Funeral Mass April 12 ^th at 10:00 am will be held. Committal at Valley View Memorial Park.
