SCOTT EUGENE TAYLOR

Scott Eugene Taylor, our devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, and Brother, suddenly and unexpectedly returned to his Heavenly Father July 23, 2010.  Scott was a hard working, dedicated, unselfish man, who loved and cared for his family above all else.   Scott was born April 6 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Myron Eugene Taylor and Betty Alberta Sellers.  He married Lyla Stanworth on December 19, 1998 and was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 1, 2004. Scott worked in the Reams Grocery store in Taylorsville, Utah for over 30 years.   He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who served many callings. Scott is survived by his wife Lyla, sons J.J (Kim)Taylor,Scotty Taylor, Max Kone, and Hayden Kone, Daughter Hannah Kone, and 5 Grandchildren Brothers: Bruce (Margene) Ron (Jo) Brian (Earlene) and Sister Sandy.  He was preceded in death by his Parents, Daughter Jodi, and Brother Charles.   Scott was loved and respected by all who knew him.  Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday July 28, 2010 at the Hunter West Stake Center, 2811 South 6400 West. Friends may call 6-8 pm Tuesday July 27, 21at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna and 11-11:45 am at the church prior to services. There will be private interment following services.
